If you are unsure of your finger size (or that of your
intended recipient), ask to be measured by your local
jeweller. If you are purchasing a ring for someone else as
a surprise you could borrow an existing ring and have this
measured at a jeweller, but be sure that the ring is worn
on the same finger as the one you intend to give!
There is no substitute for having your finger measured professionally,
but it's not an exact science.
Our fingers change in size from morning to evening, month
to month and even winter to summer.
